A swirling and ominous sky is pressing down and crushing a house that has been overgrown with weeds. Vines have also crept up the side of the house and spread out along the edge of the roof. What looks like a plume of smoke, or possibly a spirit is rising towards the light from a slightly opened door. You can see reflections of barren trees in the window glass and the screens in the lower panels have been peeled back and torn. Has someone or something broken in or broken out? The inside of the house is pitch black and the general mood is one of oppression.
I am doing my best to interpret the age and society I live in through art. I have included titles and descriptions, but how you interpret what you see may very well be different from mine.
