This five foot tall drawing is purposely drawn very loose allowing the viewer’s imagination a wide path to follow. Where that path leads and the final interpretation is left to the viewer. As for me, what I was thinking when I was drawing this was something of the oppression and freedom of the human spirit. The darkness is always there, swirling and hindering that which yearns to be free and was created to be free. But for those that believe, the battle is already won.
I am doing my best to interpret the age and society I live in through art. I have included titles and descriptions, but how you interpret what you see may very well be different from mine.
