The ghost-like figure in this drawing seems to be the very woman in Edvard Munch’s painting “Ashes”. Munch’s setting was a forest full of symbolism; “Choices” depicts a back alley. The highly detailed elements in the building have been carefully chosen and are also symbolic. What exactly it all means is left to the viewer to determine.
I am doing my best to interpret the age and society I live in through art. I have included titles and descriptions, but how you interpret what you see may very well be different from mine.
